*ShVSM* - the farm club of the "SOKOL" /Kiev/ - was the first team where Dimitri Khristich had started his hockey player's career. To be a hockey player Dimitri was dreaming since he "start to walk". He did everything to reach his dream. Being in a public school he broke an age barrier and passed the exam to enter in the School of the Upper Sports Skills. There he started to play for "ShVSM", and played for this farm club for three years (1984-1987). By virtue of his craving he got the highest results among his teammates and had been chosen to play for Soviet National Junior team.
